How to Increase Brain Power in 3 Steps

Most people long to know how to increase brain power.  The brain needs to be exercised just like your muscles do to be kept in shape, and there are three easy things you can do right now to help!

First, make sure your diet is rich in meats and grains and that you exercise regularly.  Beef liver contains cobalamin (vitamin B12) and grain products are rich in folic acid (vitamin B9).  Both of these are well-known to improve brain power.

Fish are the best source of Omega-3 fatty acids.  These promote healthy circulation and immune systems, providing the brain with oxygen rich blood on a regular basis.  A healthy circulatory system can also prevent heart attacks and strokes.

Next, slow down and clear your mind.  Devote your full attention to the task at hand.  Do you need to remember a procedure for work?  Repeat the steps out loud and practice them several times.  Take notes and write them down.  Make sure you have completed any tasks that could interrupt you.  For instance, if you need to make a call home, do so before taking in new information.
