Continue to Struggle for Finding a Way to Improve Memory?
Many people struggle everyday with finding a way to improve memory. I know I’ve struggled with it for a long time now. I’m probably sure it doesn’t help that I did a bit too much partying in college and now am paying for it…or other than just simply not ‘thinking’ as much as a I should.
There’s one statement I do agree though with most brain experts. The brain is a muscle and if it’s not exercised and challenged on daily basis you’ll get out of shape quick. Or in this case just forget. Often times when our minds are so overloaded with what we need to do the brain just shuts down. It consciously won’t process any more information. You’re just producing stress and this is getting you no where.
Many people cite mediation as a perfect way to improve their memory and reduce stress levels. People consider meditation a way to get into a hypnotic state that allows you to take back control of the mind. Now what do you do if you’re a busy person and have life to juggle in addition to your working career or business to run?
The best piece of advice I can offer is to simply get up a few minutes before the rest of your household (assuming you live with others) and mediate if you choose to go that route. You could also stay up a few minutes later after everyone else goes to bed. You’ll have to find what works best for you. However, there is one guarantee; you’re not going to experience the benefits of meditation over night. This is something you do need to stick with consistently for 30 days to make it a new habit.
As far as waking up early many successful people swear up and down that going to bed early and getting up in the early AM is the best thing they can do for their memories. The brain is able to fully recharge itself. Try this for a week and see if your mind starts to trigger new thoughts on stuff you know you need to accomplish.

Well written post. I agree with you, our brain is powerful if we train it and improve it. I enjoyed the fact that you considered mediation as one way to enhance the brain power. Personally, I believe that medication is great way to detoxify the brain from any distractions and unhealthy thinking. Beside all that, meditation makes wonders to our body also.
Again, nice post and keep up the good work Matt.
